I concur. Most of the time when we have major news, we wait longer before giving the heads-up (if any at all) to avoid any speculation. However, people also desire to have a heads up so they don’t find out “after-the-fact”. That’s the only reason for the notice.
While the news is substantial, it is not by any means bad or anything that should cause fear. So rest easy.
Amen!
I am excited to see what God will do through this move to two services. Anthem family, you can each play an integral part in this new chapter of our life together by:
So powerful…it’s not how we thought it would end…
And the best thing is that He gives us the grace to recognize that He is more
than able to give us all we need. Love Angie

I’ve really been enjoying these! Keep ’em coming!
Hi Tom – two things do you and your wife have separate email accounts and City log ins? That’s needed as users can’t share one account.
If you do, try clearing your cookies, forms and browsing history from your browser. Perhaps the form pre populates because it’s stored in your computers memory.
Hope that helps. If you’ve already tried that, sorry!
Very informative. Graphics are the best. Thanks for putting this together guys.
God is amazing! It is so exciting to be able to lead and serve in this season. I am especially thankful that even if I teach the kiddos on a Sunday, I still get to attend a service. I have to say I don’t think I ever realized before how blessed and replenished I am by Sunday worship and sermon.
I am very excited about going to two services! I have helped to plant enough churches now that I know that what you say is true – The resources are in the harvest. Those volunteers are out there and Jesus will bring them in! We can only be faithful to the call that He has given to our Elders and greatly rejoice that He would count us worthy to proclaim His Name in Marin County.
When we were calling a new Pastor, and Allen Coleman was but a glimmer in the eye of the search team, we held a 5 hour prayer and worship vigil asking God to do greater things with our church than we could even think of or imagine. Almost the entire church gathered! We prayed for our new Pastor. We prayed for our County. We prayed for each other that we’d be ready, willing and excited about all the changes. During the course of worship and artist came in and painted a vision of what the Lord had given her for the church. That painting now hangs in the cry room and bears the Isaiah 43:19 scripture. Even then God was telling us this day would come! Even then He was encouraging us and letting us know He had heard our prayers. And if our God is FOR us and WITH us, who can stand against us!?
Since then we had a wonderful Pastor join us, a terrifc worship and Missional Community Pastor join us, and more new faces and outstanding leaders come on board. Yes indeed, He is doing a new thing and making a way in the wildernes. Not only for us, but for all those in Marin He is calling to His side. Thanks Allen for your post and for your encouragement. I look forward with hope to all our God will do!
